Au Pair Girls (1972)

Fluffy and entertaining British sexploitation spiced with lots of softcore rolling around. The girls are cute, the skirts are short, and the boom mic is sometimes visible. It’s four stories, all woven together, about four au pair girls just off the plane from various foreign countries and how they each lose their jobs in one day all due to their ensuing naked adventures. Two of the stories are zany comedies and two of them are more dramatic affairs, but all of them give us plenty of bare flesh to enjoy. Ten minutes don’t go by here without a nice view of one of the actress’s hills and valleys. Everybody’s gonna have a favorite girl. Mine’s Gabrielle Drake (sister of revered English folkie Nick Drake!) as the sunny Danish brunette who spends the whole movie cheerfully nude after she rips up her little red dress while goofing around with her employer’s hornball son in a barn and he just happens to have lost the key to the trunk of the car where her luggage is stored.

Directed by old Hammer horror veteran Val Guest.
