Yet another zombie movie, but this one is Norwegian and set in a winter wonderland up in the mountains. Some young guys and girls drive to a secluded cabin for a good time only for the flesh-eating undead to pop out of the snow like a Whac-A-Mole game. Blood sprays, guts fly, a guy decapitates his own arm after a zombie takes a bite out of it—you know the drill. The zombies here are Nazi zombies, leftovers from the occupation of Norway back in World War II, but a zombie’s a zombie. They’re the same as all other zombies. They just look a little more cool because of the slick uniforms.
It’s lightweight, but entertaining enough with no nudity (what the hell, Norway?) and gallons of gore that’s more cartoonish than gross. Even the scene where the guy sews up his own bloody neck wound isn’t a big deal because the director never goes in for the close-up.
