Are you looking for a good horror movie about spiders on an island? If so, you might not like this. Are you looking for a cast full of shapely girls making corny jokes and dancing in bikinis? If so, this movie has you covered. If Russ Meyer ever made a monster movie with a script written over a weekend and a cast of Germans portraying delightfully trashy American burlesque dancers, it have might have turned out almost like this. Meyer would have been a lot more eccentric, while 58-year-old director Fritz Böttger here isn’t much more than a pin-up pusher. The teenage boys of the early 60s must have been GLUED to the screen (and maybe glued to their pants, if you know what I mean).
