A group of whiny teenagers whom you can’t WAIT to see die in gruesome fashion throw a Halloween party in a condemned house that was the site of some horrible murders back in the 1930s. Is the house haunted? Of course it is. With ghosts who like to tear out throats, bite off faces and beat in heads with a meat tenderizing mallet. After the gory opening teaser, this takes its sweet time to get to the good stuff and when it does, entrails fly and splatter against the walls. It all adds up to a half-decent micro-budget job. It looks like ALL of the money spent went toward the (pretty good) gore effects. Tom Savini, the King of Splatter himself, has a small acting part.
