A killer robot is loose in the parking garage beneath a Tokyo dance club. It’s an old World War II weapon that was never used and it’s got guns, a sword, and a drive to kill everything that moves. A couple of guys who know what it is show up to fight it, but we don’t get to see much of that. The director already blew most of the $75 budget on the retro robot costume and a good kill scene at the beginning. Instead we get two bickering bystanders who run around trying to hide while the action happens elsewhere.
A major letdown, but there are a couple of good moments at the start. It’s about a half-hour in when you start to realize that nothing much is gonna happen.
