It’s The Blair Witch Project in the swanky San Diego home of an annoying asshole couple. The most likable character in this handheld camera hit is the evil demon who bangs on the floor at night and you don’t even get to see it. There are a few good scares here if you’re the kind of person who believes, or wants to believe, every “true” ghost story you hear, but any further epistolary horror flicks will have to bring more to the table than this.
