You can never have too many movies about wooden-mannered space travelers who become stranded on hostile alien planets, particularly when they’re as attractively shot as this. The story: who cares? This is a nice movie to look at, though. The alien planet of Mario Bava is full of day-glo lighting with colored smoke wafting all around. Each shot, each scene, each location is dominated by a different color and the effect is a bit like looking at Christmas lights.
