Your regular Big Loud High-Tech Action Flick, but set in a futuristic underground complex that’s infected by a zombie-creating virus. Blood flies, bullets blast and people get sliced into itty bitty pieces by lasers. It delivers non-stop violence and not much else. If you’re in the mood, it’s not that bad. The best thing about it is that Milla Jovovich makes a great action star. Director Paul W. S. Anderson was her future husband and he lovingly shows her off, making her look ultra-cool, strong-eyed and intense. Not one drop of sweat shows up on her fashion model face.
