Terrorvision (1986)

terrorvisionThe best satellite dish monster movie of the 80s. Another slime beast from outer space shows up on Earth to eat people and make gurgling noises. How’d it get here? A kinky swinger family’s brand new satellite dish. Along with Asian news broadcasts and pornography, the dish also picks up a three-eyed space monster that exists as pure energy out in the cosmos and, through the magic of B-movies, materializes it right here on Earth.

At least I think it’s Earth. For some reason when the monster bites peoples’ heads off, they all bleed GREEN.

It’s a comedy, neon-hued and as 80s as a baggie of cocaine in the left thigh pocket of your parachute pants. Look into this one if you like stuff like Killer Klowns from Outer Space and Fright Night.

Produced by Charles Band. The cast includes Mary Woronov, in her 40s and looking great in a workout leotard for the first fifteen minutes of the film, and Diane Franklin (the girl from The Last American Virgin and Better Off Dead), nearly unrecognizable under a few pounds of glam-rock hair and make-up.
