Hourglass-shaped real-life stripper Shirley Kilpatrick is a radioactive alien who wears a skintight silver catsuit and can kill anyone by merely touching them. She crash lands on Earth and gives a hard time to a luckless gang of crooks.
First-time director Ronnie Ashcroft’s good friend Ed Wood helped out a little here (specifically the “bear attack” scene). As in Wood’s films, the budget here is low, the sets are few (I count three total), the acting is clumsy, and the sun sometimes shines though the story takes place at night. Also like Wood’s films, it has a lot of otherworldly charm. A year later Ashcroft got credit as assistant director on Wood’s Night of the Ghouls.
