This is a gory Chinese black-comedy softcore sex film torture show. Probably the best one I’ve seen all week. It also happens to have a lot of heart and lot of laughs.
A woman is accused in archaic times of murdering her husband by deliberately overdosing him on a male potency brew that made his penis explode. She didn’t really do it, but the shrieking judge wants nothing from her but a confession and he’ll do things like crush her fingers, have her raped in her cell, and drag the knees of her accused lover over broken glass to get it.
Most of the movie though is made up flashbacks that, when not giving us terrifically funny and bizarre sex scenes, tell the real story of who killed the guy. The most light-hearted and memorable scene (out of many) is the intro of Win Chung-Lung and wife, a fun couple who spend all their time in the forest blissfully playing kung-fu sex games in mid-air.
