The Man From Planet X (1958)

An alien invasion film so plodding they may as well have carved out the story on stone tablets rather than made a movie. It’s too bad that director Edgar G. Ulmer didn’t know he’d become such a cult figure decades later. Maybe he would have tried a little harder for this low-budget flick about an alien who lands in the Scottish countryside and is friendly at first, but becomes antagonized by an unscrupulous glory hound scientist.
