The Prowler (1981)

prowlerDead meat at the college graduation dance. The killer in this entertaining slasher flick dresses up in Army fatigues and a mask and he doesn’t say a goddamn word as he stabs co-eds to death with a big steel pitchfork. It all has something to do with an old grudge that dates back to the 1940s. This is most notable for its classic Tom Savini gore, including some squirmingly realistic throat slashings, a knife through the skull, and the ever-popular exploding head. Old Hollywood actors Lawrence Tierney and Farley Granger earn some late-career paychecks in small roles here.
