Policewomen (1974)

Entertaining brain cell killer starring redhead Sondra Currie as a lady cop who’s recruited to bust up an all-female bikini-clad crime ring. Don’t hold your breath for the plot to start making sense (it never does), but do enjoy the lively fight scenes and liberal nudity. Also, don’t miss the classic opening credits, from which Quentin Tarantino swiped the Pulp Fiction font.

Directed by Lee Frost, who sleazed up the drive-ins of the 60s and 70s with low-budget films in almost every genre of exploitation. His most famous movies are quintessential 60s roughie The Defilers, Nazisploitation stand-out Love Camp 7 and campy all-timer The Thing With Two Heads, with Ray Milland and Rosey Grier
